The Agent retains 100% of commission sales, bonuses, and referral fees, closed by the Agent, whether the Agent is the listing Agent, selling Agent, or both, Minus just a $495 transaction Fee. For example: $5,000 Gross Commission, Minus the $495 Transaction Fee, Equals $4,505 commission paid to the Agent.
How do I get my real estate license?: Boardwalk Realty offers a discount on Wisconsin REALTORS® Association online pre-license courses to get your real estate license. At only $199, these courses are approved by the Department of Safety and Professional Services to fulfill your education requirement and are completed at your own pace.
How much does it cost to get my real estate license?: The start-up costs associated with getting your license varies. Costs includes, but not limited to: Cost of pre-license course, State Of Wisconsin license fees, Realtor Board Dues, Office Fee, etc. Brand new agents can expect to pay around $2,000 and $3,000 in license start up costs.
I'm newly licensed, do you offer mentorship?: Yes! Newly licensed agents are required to participate in a mentorship program in which he or she will be paired up with an experienced agent to mentor them through their first 5 deals. The split will be 70% Agent / 30% Mentor, minus the $495 transaction fee to the brokerage. The agent can continue to have a mentor, on a transaction by transaction bases after their 5th deal.
How much does it cost to join Boardwalk Realty?: A one-time Start-up Fee of $299 is due from the agent upon sign-up. This includes the WI license transfer fee, onboarding, and document preparation. The office fee is $1,000 per year, due on their anniversary month. Total upon sign up is $1,299. Then $1,000 per year thereafter.
How do we turn in our paperwork/files?: We are a paperless company. All documents for each & every transaction are uploaded or emailed to our transaction management software. Once they are received, they are reviewed for accuracy & compliance.
Can I be a Part-Time Agent under Boardwalk Realty?: Yes! We had designed our brokerage to work for all kinds of agents. We are set up for Part-Time, Full-Time, Investor, Retail, Or Hybrid of them all.
How does E&O coverage work?: All of our transactions are covered with Errors & Omissions insurance. If an E&O insurance claim is made, the Agent shall be responsible for any insurance deductibles.
Do you offer any optional real estate tools?: Yes! Our agents have the option to work as a retail agent, licensed investor, or hybrid agent. As a retail agent, we offer the use of our CRM, your own Agent IDX Website Landing Page, Office Leads from Website, and Office Phone Line with Virtual Phone Extension. Your fully functional property searching website you'll market your domain to promote you and your brand. These technology tools are available for $50/month.
